Nanolathe

The nanolathe is found on various construction units and Commanders, as well as weaker versions on repair units. The nanobots it ejects use availible metal and energy to build very complex building-sized structures in seconds, thus allowing Core and Arm forces to spread their holdings very rapidly once they arrive on a planet.

Nanolathes can also be used for repairing damaged structures, for capturing enemy vehicles, and for 'reclaiming' various plantlife, rock formations, and even enemy vehicles. When 'reclaiming' something, the nanobots break the target down to its component materials, which are then stored for future use in construction.
