Norts
The Norts are the aggressors in the war on Nu-Earth. Their nation-state is called Nordland and originally they settled peacefully on Nu-Earth with the Southers. However, tensions sooned showed between the two diametrically opposed factions and the nearby Black hole that could be used for quick interplanetary travel made Nu-Earth a vital outpost in the war between the Norts and the Southers. They launched a pre-emptive strike on Fortress Neuropa, a large Souther settlement which managed to halt the Nort advance long enough to allow reinforcements to arrive and engage the Norts elsewhere on Nu-Earth.The Norts as originally conceived in the comic strip looked and acted like a cross between Warsaw Pact forces and Nazis. Norts troopers in contrast with their Souther counterparts have an all concealing face mask as part of their chem-gear.
