Omega-X Class Destroyer

The Omega-X class Destroyer was a desperate piece of engineering performed by various groups that were loyal to President Clark. When Captain John Sheridan openly started fighting Clark loyal targets President Clark knew that there would would be high losses in conventional warships when they faced the White Star Fleet. At least 20 Omega Class destroyer hulls were modified with adaptive Shadow bio-armour, as well as their weapons being changed out for Shadow-tech weaponry.

Due to information received, Commander Susan Ivanova took a force of White Stars ahead of the main fleet and met the Shadow Omegas. They inflicted heavy casualties on the White Star fleet. Their hulls appeared to be be considerably stronger than normal Omegas

As far as is known, there are no more Omega-X's as they are 'tainted' with Shadow tech.
