Very little can be said about the Orz except for the fact that they are very strange. Their language can only be roughly translated and nobody, except for the Arilou, knows where they came from, why they’re here or how they got here. What little is known about them, is very disturbing. Their territory used to belong to the Androsynth, who disappeared at the same time as the Orz appeared. According to the Melnorme, the Androsynth brought the Orz to this dimension when an experiment got out of hand.
It is likely that the Orz wiped them out, but they refuse to elaborate on this, and will get mad when asked repetitively. What little that the Orz do reveal about the Androsynth is that they were good *dancers*, which most likely means that they were good combatants. Any research done towards finding the cause of the Androsynth’s disappearance, leads to the researchers’ losing their sanity, and usually their lives to suicide, as well.
They seem to get along fine with the other members of the alliance, with the exception of the Arilou, whom they call meddlers. The Arilou themselves seem to dislike the Orz as well, always stressing out that the Orz cannot be trusted and should be handled with care.
According to the Arilou, the Orz are a ‘projecting’ themselves from another dimension and are actually part of one being.
