Penal Ship

The Penal Ship is used to house prisoners in the Colonial Fleet. Despite the criminal natures of some of the Fleet's personnel, Commander Adama would not condone abandoning them to the Cylons. The Penal Ship has a constant position near the Galactica itself.

It has held Kommandant Leiter and his crew from the Eastern Alliance, as well as Baltar and a group of Borellian Nomen who all attempted escape.

Model trivia-Part of the hullform of the Penal ship was comprised of a kit of a German Type VII World War II U-Boat.
