EAS Prometheus

The EAS Prometheus captained by Captain Michael Jankowski was the vessel selected to lead a small taskforce to try and initiate first contact with the Minbari. The Prometheus was a Hyperion Class heavy cruiser, and accompanied another Hyperion and a Nova as well as a number of smaller auxiliary craft.

The Prometheus encountered a small Minbari fleet in 2245, and when the
Minbari's powerful scanners overloaded certain ships systems, Captain Jankowski panicked and told the Prometheus gunners to open fire on the Minbari ship.

The Prometheus escaped along with her taskforce but it is not known if the Prometheus survived the following Earth-Minbari war.
