Raptor

The Raptor is a Colonial workhorse, and is one of the most versatile ships in the fleet. Serving as a combination AWACS/Search and Rescue/Scout/Transport and light attack craft, the Raptor is typically one of the most deployed ships in the fleet.

The way in which they have been constructed means that they are easily adaptable to a wide variety of tasks. They can carry a reasonable number of passengers, though this is not their prime function.
