Red Dwarf:Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers

Dave Lister is stranded on Ganymede, one of Jupiters moons after mysteriously appearing there after blacking out after an all night drinking binge.

He decides to join the Space Corps to try and work his passage home after unsuccesfully trying to raise money by being a cab driver. Unfortunately, between the crew of the ship dieing, Lister having to put up with Rimmer, the most annoying person in existence and finding out that you're eventually 3 million years into deep space, events conspire against him.
