Roffa

Roffa is a friend of Keren, Janno and Salvia and originally comes from the city-state of Ellul, a small independent province that has a fairly old fashioned way of living. He is first encountered by Salvia and Janno when they are searching for Keren who was lost in a shipwreck.

Roffa takes them to Ellul where they are reunited with their lost comrade, and he ferries them back to Trigan City in his primitive flying machine. The City is at this time held by a savage tribe of Gorths, primitive savages who have looted and burned the city. He helps turn the tide of battle in favour of Trigo and his henchmen who are attempting to retake the city.

For his bravery he is offered a commision in the Trigan Air Fleet which he gratefully and eagerly accepts. Roffa is initially shown with large framed spectacles, which in later years disappear. It is possible that Trigan medical technology either allows him to use contact lenses or has some sort of corrective surgery.
