Saffron

Saffron appears in the episodes Our Mrs. Reynolds and Trash. The rest of this description contains spoilers, so please continue to read on only if you like spoilers or have already seen the above two episodes.

Saffron is a con-artist who tricked her way onto Serenity by claiming she had married Malcom while he was drunk at a party (Our Mrs. Reynolds). She maintained the character of a demure, naive farm-girl until she sprang into action to sabotage the ship and steer it towards a breakers yard.

She reappeared in Trash, embarking on a mission with the crew to recover a rare antique weapon.
