Sardaukar
The Sardaukar are the hardened terror troops of the Padishah Emperor. Thought to be the best in the Imperium, they are trained on Salusa Secundus in secret. The way this worked was the official story was this world was a high security penal planet.The harsh conditions on this world and the brutal training regime ensured that only the best of the prospective trainees survived.
At their peak, the Sardaukar outnumbered and outgunned any House army.
