Second Empire of Man

The Second Empire of Man is an interstellar empire founded by Leonidas IV in 2903. Its capital is Sparta, but it also has Earth as a symbolic capital.

The Empire is about 650 light years in diameter. It has a large space navy and marine forces. The Empire is ruled by the Emperor, but the government seems to be adminstered at different levels. The Empire wants to reunite all human worlds to prevent another war, even through force.

The Second Empire of Man suceeded the Empire of Man.

The Seal of the Empire consists of an eagle, sickle and hammer, spaceship and crown. The Eagle and Sickle and Hammer may refer to the Empire's CoDominium origins.
