Seether

Seether is the genetically engineered pilot that Christopher Blair first meets on his homeworld of Nephele II, threatening another bar patron.

Taking an instant dislike to this arrogant young pilot, Blair intervenes. Seether is in fact not a normal human, but part of the Black Lance project and the protege of Admiral Tolwyn.

He arrives on the TCS Lexington with Fleet Captain Hugh Paulsen. Later he attempts to destroy Captain Eisen's shuttle and is later discovered to be part of the whole Black Lance project.

Seether is killed by Blair while travelling to Earth.
