Sheffield Class Destroyer

The Confederation Sheffield Class destroyer is the mainstay of the Terran Navy. They're found almost everywhere, doing escort duty for important carriers, patrolling backwater systems or being part of independent raiding groups.

They are heavily armed with antimatter guns, lasers and torpedoes, and some versions are known to have a small hangar and a small complement of shuttles or fighters.
