St Ives Compact

The St Ives Compact is the region formerly known as the Duchy of St Ives. It once was a part of the Capellan Confederation until the Fourth Succession War. Justin Allard, a Davion agent was put on a show trial and apparently exiled from the Federated Suns. He took up employment in the Capellan Confederation and grew close to Duchess Candace Liao. When the Succession War was at its peak, Candace decided that she wished to defect to the Federated Suns and formally took her Duchy with her.

The St Ives Forces are small, but well trained and dedicated. As of the Clan Invasion, St Ives was still independent but it was under no illusions that it relied on the goodwill of the Federated Commonwealth for its protection.
