Zartoth EW Craft

The Zartoth is a development of the Vaktoth class heavy fighter hull. It is used as the Kilrathi's prime Electronic Warfare fighter, especially in areas where a more dedicated, but less agile craft would be vulnerable.

Detachments of these craft were assigned to the newer Bhantkara class supercarriers as standard. These craft were just coming into service when the Confed-Kilrathi war ended, so they never achieved universal use.

Armed with only a single Tachyon cannon and a pair of IFF missiles, the Zartoth is very lightly armed, relying instead on a combination of speed, armour and maneuverability to get clear of hostiles.

Due to the nature of the tasks these ships carry out, many Kilrathi warriors feel they are not honourable postings.
