Zero-X

The Zero-X is a large interstellar space exploration craft. It is of a modular design consisting of the spacecraft itself and two huge wing shaped lifting bodies.

On these wings are huge, powerful rocket motors. The lifting bodies detach from the craft in low earth orbit and cruise back to the earths surface to be used again. The Zero-X takes off like a conventional aircraft, and lands lie one too.

The nose section of the spacecraft can detach and act as a planetary landing vehicle and command post.

Twice, Zero-X craft have been rescued by International Rescue. The first time, the craft was sabotaged and the crew had to be saved. The second time, the Zero-X was returning from Mars and there was a fire on board.

Both times, the International Rescue craft managed to save the crew of the ships.
