Doctor Zira

Doctor Zira was a Chimpanzee scientist in ape city who specialised in experimenting on humans, specifically in the fields of biology. Zira was married to Cornelius, a young Chimpanzee archeologist.

Zira encountered Colonel Taylor when he was brought to Ape City by Gorilla militia. Unlike the rest of the humans, Taylor and his crew could speak, but with his crew unaccounted for, and Taylor himself suffering from a throat wound, he could not make himself clear.

Zira, however did think that he seemed more intelligent than the typical human.
